After-Wedding Uses For Your Wedding Linen

If that sounds like you, you’ve probably already picked out your perfect wholesale wedding linen, including wedding chair covers and wedding chair sashes, and are trying to puzzle out what on earth you will do with it all once the big day is over.

There are endless uses for good wedding table cloths; almost as many as there are colour and fabric choices at WWS! Good-quality fabric can have many purposes, particularly if you are setting up home or starting a family. If you have reasonable craft skills, wedding linens can be turned to almost any purpose.

Tablecloths

Naturally, it makes sense to keep some of your wholesale wedding tablecloths for the same use at home. Keep a few cleaned, pressed tablecloths to use at home every day or for special occasions. If white is too formal, you may be able to dye the fabric. Don’t forget to keep a stock of napkins, too. A wedding chair cover, and on special occasions, a wedding chair sash, can transform the way basic kitchen and dining chairs look and feel.

Once you’ve picked out the best tablecloths for use at home, you can get to work repurposing the remaining fabric to line curtains, create pillow shams, or use it as a toile for dressmaking projects.

Napkins

It’s also worth thinking outside the box when considering the re-use of linens. Napkins can be repurposed as hankies, placemats, pot holders and in place of quarters of fabric for patchwork and craft projects.

Chair Sashes

A wedding chair sash can be ideal for curtain tie-backs, to use for decorating parcels, or as festive decorations or hair ribbons. If you combine several together, they can make a great table runner or, as with napkins, they can be used for patchwork projects.

Wedding Chair Covers

Reusing a wedding chair cover can be more challenging, as the fabric will often need to be unpicked and the size can be awkward. You may want to consider selling wedding chair covers, especially as they tend to be gently used, or use them for craft and cleaning jobs.

Confident Crafting

Not sure you have the craft skills to make the best use of your linens? Speak to friends and family who might be happy to teach you in return for some fabric, or have a great suggestion for a way you could re-use awkward items such as chair covers.

If you are planning to sew any of your wedding items, it makes sense to buy fabrics that won’t shrink and are easy to clean, dye and use, so consider the range of premium cotton table cloths at WWS and avoid stretchy materials like spandex, which tend to be more difficult to work with.
