Express Post AvailableOur chiffon fabric is made from Synthetic Nylon composite. Nylon Chiffon is a lightweight, sheer fabric (see through) which when placed under a magnifying glass it resembles a fine net or mesh, which gives chiffon its see-through properties. This style of nylon chiffon has some stiffness to it, which works well for all event styling and decorating from ceiling draping to pew bows. It is however not suited for dressmaking.
In the skilful hands of an expert, this plain woven and lightweight see thru fabric can be turned into the most spectacular chic presentation of flowers, drapery or anything else you can imagine.

Chiffon Description (please read before purchasing):
Chiffon can be made from silk, cotton, synthetic fibres or a composition of different materials. Chiffon has a is totally different weave to organza however some chiffons can have a feel similar to organza and can be mistaken for organza to the untrained eye. Each of the raw materials gives this product a different feeling
SYNTHETIC CHIFFON: such as rayon, polyester & nylon is a stiffer fabric which makes the product more durable and robust which is suited for furnishing and event decorating. This type of chiffon can be machine washed but not dried,
Silk & Cotton chiffon: has a soft sensation when be touched and is the best suited for dressmaking. This is not suitable for machine washing and drying
URGENT ORDERS:
Orders must be placed before 8am QLD time to enable dispatch same day. The final cut of for same day dispatch, if we can accommodate your order, is 10am, however, orders placed after 8am cannot be guaranteed to be dispatched same day. You would need to contact us via phone for orders placed after 8am.
Large bulky and fragile orders may not be suitable for same day dispatch and cannot be accepted after 8am.
