Description
This black wedding backdrop curtain is designed for weddings, bridal tables, event backdrops and venue draping where a soft layered effect is required. The curtain features a heavy-duty black polyester rear layer with a sheer voile front layer that creates a light flowing finish ideal for wedding receptions, ceremonies and event styling.
Measuring 3 metres high by 5.5 metres wide, this backdrop curtain can be used flat for wider coverage or gathered for a fuller wedding draping look. For light gathering, an approximate 4 metre span is recommended. For a heavily gathered bridal backdrop effect, reducing the span to approximately 3 metres will create a fuller appearance.
This style is considered a decorator favourite due to its versatility, soft drape and easy setup. It is commonly used behind bridal tables, ceremony settings, cake tables and venue backdrops where a clean, elegant finish is required.
The voile front layer sits approximately 3 inches shorter than the rear polyester layer, helping create a soft layered curtain effect often used with fairy lights. Fairy lights cast a beautiful glow through the sheer voile fabric, making this curtain a popular choice for romantic wedding and event backdrops.
The curtain includes a sewn 3 inch rod pocket at the top for easy installation onto standard backdrop stands and crossbars. The edges are serged for a neat professional finish suitable for commercial venues, wedding stylists, hire companies and repeated event use.
This backdrop curtain is not fully blockout. If installed in front of windows or bright light sources, some light will still pass through the fabric layers, making it suitable for decorative styling rather than blackout applications.

- Contact us via email with your order number, note on the email the items you would like to return along with the reason
- Complete the return form we send to you and place it inside your return parcel
- Take the parcel to the post office to be returned to us within 30 days from when it was delivered to you
All items returned for change of mind must have the product packaging unopened, undamaged and in suitable packaging. If you received the item in a box we expect you to return that in a box now a bag or padded bag. If you return something that has been opened or the packaging is damaged we will not refund you instead the items will be sent back to your return to sender.
We are unable to accept returns/refunds on the following:
- Clearance lines, factory seconds, items in our sale category, veils, and jewellery.
- Fragile items such as but not limited to vases, glassware, ceramics, mirrors, metal vases, wax candles, led lights and charger plates
- Backdrop Curtains and other large fabric items including Aisle Runners which have been folded for postage
- Special Order Items such as - stock/sizes/colours we do not normally sell or bulk orders of items we do stock that require us to place a special order with our factory.
