What's your wedding personality?

Believe it or not while you are in the planning stages of your wedding you will develop a new personality. Every bride, and even some grooms for that matter, seems to take on a whole new personality as they become obsessed with their big day. Just like every person is different, so is the wedding personality you will assume leading up to the big event. It is impossible to tell exactly what personality you will develop. And sometimes you develop more than one! If you are wondering what types of wedding personalities are out there, here is a look at just some of the personalities we have seen and worked with in the past.

The Monster Bride

These brides can only be described as one thing – controlling. They want to have control over every little detail from what colour the wedding guest books are to the height of the wedding candles that will be placed on the dinner table for the reception.

Monster Brides that are working on their own will often make multiple calls to family and friends who are working on the wedding with them. If a wedding planner is involved, he or she will get the most calls.

These brides will micro-manage everyone involved with the wedding. They will make sure guests have a detailed summary of what to wear and where to go. They will make sure everything is not only planned, but it is planned the way the bride wants it to be planned regardless of how difficult it may be to make those things happen.

The Laid Back Bride

Brides know what they want for their wedding, but some aren't as picky – or headstrong – as others. The Laid Back Bride knows what she wants, but is flexible in how her wedding vision pans out.

A Laid Back Bride is extremely accommodating when it comes to planning her wedding. She understands that not everything is going to be exactly as she wants it to be, and she is okay with that.

An example of a Laid Back Bride is someone who knows she wants to incorporate a wedding tiara into her wedding gown. Unfortunately, the five pronged wedding tiara she envisioned is not available. A Laid Back Bride will settle for the three pronged wedding tiara and be just as happy with it.

The Planner Bride

The Planner Bride is a bride on a mission. She knows what she wants, but she understands that she alone cannot make her dream a reality. In order to make her big day special, she will recruit anyone she thinks can help her and give them a set outline of what she needs that individual to do for her.

A Planner Bride appears to be high maintenance, but if you stick to her plan, she will not turn into a Monster Bride. The mission of a Planner Bride is to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, which is why she has planned everything out from start to finish.

Regardless of which wedding personality you develop, we can help you make your wedding day special. We at the Wholesale Wedding Superstore have everything you need to help you achieve your wedding dreams.
