At Wedding Superstore, we know how important it is to receive your order on time for your big day or special event. That’s why we work hard to ensure fast and reliable dispatch for every order.
How Do I Check Postage Costs?
Postage is calculated in the shopping cart before checkout. Add the items you would like to order to your cart, then enter your delivery postcode on the cart page. The available delivery methods and postage charges will be shown before you place your order.
Postage costs can vary depending on your postcode, parcel size, parcel weight and the delivery services available for your area. Larger or bulky items may have different freight options to smaller items.
You do not need to complete checkout to view postage options. You can check postage costs from the cart page before making payment.

99% of orders leave our Sunshine Coast Warehouse within 1 business day. Please allow this dispatch time in addition to the courier transit time shown below.
Delivery transit times vary depending on your location and the postage method selected at checkout. Use the delivery time calculator below to select your nearest major town or city and view estimated transit times for each available carrier.
Express Post is available for urgent orders. Express services may reduce courier transit time, but orders still need to be dispatched before they begin their journey.

Couriers Please & Aramex delivery notes
For apartments, unit blocks and gated complexes, these carriers may redirect parcels to a collection point such as a newsagency or petrol station rather than delivering directly to the address.
Couriers Please and Aramex are budget carrier options. Support is provided by email and live chat rather than phone, so delivery enquiries can take longer to resolve. We also communicate with these carriers through their online support channels and do not have direct phone escalation points.

Australia Post Express Post
- Available for items under 1 metre in length.
- Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 6:00am, Monday to Friday.
- Estimated delivery is generally 1–3 business days. Overnight delivery is not guaranteed.
TNT Overnight Priority
Our recommended option when delivery is urgent.
- Available for all items, including bulky and larger orders.
- Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 9:00am, Monday to Friday.
- For orders placed before 12:00pm Queensland time, text us and we may be able to arrange urgent dispatch.
- Overnight delivery is available to most capital cities and major centres.
- Allow approximately 2 business days for other regional areas.
Click & Collect
Next-business-day click and collect is available from our warehouse at 8B Court Rd (enter from Reilly Rd) Nambour.
Collection hours are 8:00am–12:30pm, Monday to Friday only.
If your order is urgent, please call or text us before ordering to check whether a faster collection can be arranged.
For local customers after you enter your shipping address at checkout, click and collect will appear in the posage section with the carriers such as Aus Post
Regional & Rural Deliveries
For regional and rural areas, including much of WA, NT and Tasmania, we recommend choosing Australia Post or Startrack Express where available.
Couriers Please and Aramex may be lower-cost options, but their regional networks can be slower. In some areas, delivery can take considerably longer, including acreage properties outside metro areas.
Packed & Dispatched From Our Queensland Warehouse
Your order is picked, packed and dispatched from our own Sunshine Coast warehouse. We do not drop ship from third-party suppliers, helping us maintain accurate stock, careful packing and clear communication from order through to delivery.
Fast, Reliable Dispatch
Once you submit your order, it moves through our system for picking and packing. 99% of orders leave our Sunshine Coast warehouse within 1 business day, so your chosen carrier can begin delivery as quickly as possible.
How Shipping Costs Are Calculated
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the greater of the actual weight or cubic volume of your order, together with the delivery destination. Available carrier options and charges are shown after you enter your postcode in the cart.
Why Is Couriers Please Delivery Cheaper?
Couriers Please is often one of the lower-cost delivery options shown at checkout, particularly for metro areas. It is a budget courier service and can be a suitable choice when delivery is not urgent.
Customer support is provided through online live chat and email rather than phone support. If a delivery issue occurs, we also communicate with Couriers Please through their online support channels and do not have direct phone escalation points.
If your order is urgent, being sent to a regional or rural address, or you would prefer stronger carrier support, we recommend choosing Australia Post or StarTrack where available.
Why Can Postage Cost More Than Expected?
We keep our product prices separate from freight costs rather than building flat-rate or “free shipping” costs into every item. The delivery prices shown at checkout are based on the carrier charges for your order and destination.
Large or bulky products, including arches, aisle runners and other oversized items, can attract carrier oversized-handling fees. These charges vary by length and cubic volume and can range from approximately $10 to more than $200.
Do You Offer Free Postage?
We do not offer blanket free postage. Freight costs vary significantly depending on the size and weight of an order, the delivery postcode and the carrier selected.
Rather than building an average shipping cost into every product price, we keep our product prices as low as possible and show the actual available delivery options at checkout. This means customers ordering smaller items or located closer to our warehouse are not paying extra to subsidise the freight costs of larger, heavier or more remote deliveries.
