How many 3 m curtains cover a 3 m frame?
For our ungathered curtains, we recommend two panels (3 m x 3 m) on a 3m frame to give standard fullness; For our pre-gathered range, one 3m curtain is enough.
Pipe-and-drape vs. backdrop stand—what’s the difference?
Pipe-and-drape is a modular, high-quality commercial system (uprights, crossbars, base plates) that scales to larger widths/heights. It also offers additional options for 2 or 3 layers of curtains by using hanger brackets to support more cross bars. A backdrop stand is a simpler frame for fixed spans or lightweight installs, perfect for the DIY bride.
Can I join curtains to reach 6 m?
Yes—use additional curtains pushed together at the joins to achieve the length you require.
Do I need weights outdoors?
Yes—always secure bases with weights or sandbags when used outside, read the descriptions carefully as we will state if suitable for outdoor use.
Which arch size fits most venues?
2m circle/hex/square frames suit standard ceiling heights and photo lines, and are the perfect size for DIY. Our larger 3m plus backdrop systems are used in venues with higher ceilings.
